Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani know as Mukesh Ambani born on April 19, 1957 at Aden,Yemen.His father Dhirajlal Hirachand Ambani, popularly known as Dhirubhai Ambani was an Indian business tycoon who founded Reliance Industries and his Mother Kokilaben Ambani.
Mukesh Ambani the chairman and managing director of India’s biggest company, Reliance Industries.Currently he is the richest man in Asia,as of 16 August 2020 he is listed on Forbes as the 6th richest person in the world.The journey of Reliance to reach the top was started way back in the 1950s, when Dhirubhai Ambani used to work in Yemen, in a petrol pump. There he decided, he wanted to do something of his own, he wanted to start his own business. So at age 26, he returned to India and began a small import and export business, working in a small office with just one table anda few chairs.
Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani was born on 19 April 1957 in the Aden (in present-day yemen) to Dhirubhai ambani and Kokilaben Ambani. He has a brother and two sisters,Anil Ambani, Nina Bhadrashyam Kothari and Dipti Dattaraj Salgaocar.
He join the Hill Grange High School at Peddar Road, Mumbai, along with his brother and Anand Jain . After his secondary schooling, he studied at the St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Then he received a BE degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology.
Later in 1975, he launched clothing brand Vimal, the ad campaign ‘Only Vimal’ became very successful across India. Dhirubhai Ambani went on to create a massive business empire, which was later split between his two sons, after his demise.
Now, decades later, Reliance Industries has grown so big, that it earns more revenue than major companies like Sony, Pepsi, Facebook and LG. Not only that the group earns about three times more revenue than the GDP of Yemen, the country where Dhirubhai used to work ina petrol pump.
